In addition to two registrations at the FPYC Clubhouse on October 6 and October 27, you can also register as a player, coach or other volunteer via the FPYC Web site. Please access the FPYC Web site at http://www.fpycsports.com/, access the basketball page, and follow the instructions to register. You will have a choice of on-line payment by credit card or mailing a check to the Director of Basketball. All house league players must attend an evaluation for their age group. Players will not be called to remind them about their league’s evaluation date. If a player cannot attend, call the League Director of that age group. The registration fee is $70 per player on or before October 15th. The fee for registrations received after October 15th will be $90. No player can play on both an FPYC house and select team. |

NOTES:
HOUSE
House Teams will be formed in late November and begin practice in December before the Christmas holidays. Regular season games will start in January and run every Saturday through mid-March, with one practice on a weeknight. If you have not received a call by December 1 for team placement, please call the League Director to check.
Some house leagues may be playing games on Sundays. If this is an issue for you, please check with the League Director to see if your league will be having Sunday games.
SELECT
Select players must register before attending any tryout. If not selected, the player will attend the house league evaluation for his or her age group. Select teams begin practice after tryouts and games start in December and run through March . There will be two practices a week.
Select players pay an additional registration fee of $25 per player and pay for a uniform ($48). The select fee is toward the team registration fee FPYC pays to the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League. This additional registration fee will be collected by the select coach from each player placed on the select team and will be turned in to the Director of FPYC Basketball as a team fee.

Ages for select players are as of October 1st unless the player is in the grade designated above.
