Our Philosophy
The goal of FPYC Volleyball is to allow kids the opportunity to play volleyball in a safe and fun environment.  To this end, we encourage all those interested, regardless of experience/ability level, to join one of our teams.  Our coaches have extensive experience with the sport, and know how to motivate players to excel.  We will give each player the opportunity to have as many "touches" on the ball, as this is the best way to learn the sport and to improve a player's skill level.  We will schedule in-house scrimmages AND intra-league play with other Volleyball leagues in the area.

Practice Information - practice begins Wednesday, March 26
All teams will have 1 match and 1 practice weekly

 - Grades 4-6:
    Matches are on Wednesday evening for all 3 teams
    Practice for Team E8 & E9 - Frost Middle School - 6:00 -7:30pm Fridays
    Practice for Team E10 - Frost Middle School - 6:00 -7:30pm Thursdays

 - Grades 7- 8:
    Matches are on Tuesday or Thursday evenings for both teams
    Practice for Team M9 - Paul VI High School - 6:30 - 8:00 pm Wednesdays
    Practice for Team M10 - Providence Elementary School - 6:30 - 8:00 pm Wednesdays

 - Grades 9-12:
    Matches are on Monday evenings
    Practice is at Frost Middle School, 7:30 - 9:00 pm Fridays

Cost - discount applies if more than one child per household is registered

In addition to registration fees, it is strongly recommended that players purchase knee pads for an approximate cost of $15 - $20.  Knee pads cushions the knees when a player dives for the ball, and enables player to slide on gym floor!  The Sports Authority and Dick's Sporting Goods carry knee pads.
