FPYC's U15 age group, for the Fall 2013 season, will consist of one (1) boys team - the Galaxy, and three girls teams - the Flying Monkeys, Jags and Dynamite.
Please see try out and contact information below.
Rising U15 Girls:
The FPYC Jags team is looking to increase the roster by 5
or 6 players to maximum (22 players). We are currently looking to
bolster all positions. We emphasize ball control and player movement with and
without the ball. We continue to teach individual creativity with the ball,
game tempo, patience and communication. Our players understand and play 4
different formations. The Jags is currently composed of players from what
will be 6 different local high schools and are excellent at bonding with new
players.
We practice on turf fields in Fairfax City on 2 days per week during soccer season and on 1 day a week during the
off-season. We will hold rigorous off-season conditioning practices to prepare players for high school sports and give them the discipline to excel in their
high school sports and tryouts. We will continue to play in 4 to 5 tournaments per year and
scrimmage regularly. Future plans will be to start competing in college showcase
tournaments to allow our players to be seen by college coaches.
In three seasons in WAGS, the Jags has a record of W10-L6-T8 Goals for = 32 and goals against = 23, with a current rank of 62
in Virginia on Got soccer.
Tournament History:
2010 Hunt Country Classic - Champion

2012 Bull Run – Champion
2012 Patriot Cup – Finalist
2012 Hunt Country Classic –

The Jags is coached by John Elliott who has over 20 years of experience. Coach Elliott's U19 team, the Blue Angels, will be graduating at the end of the Spring 2013 season but was ranked as high as #17 in the state of Virginia. After beginning as an U12 All Star/rising U13 ODSL team, the Blue Angles moved up to WAGS at U16 and competed in State
Cup and numerous tournaments with an overall winning record. Coach Elliott's style and philosophy of coaching, along with his flexibility, allowed his players to continue in travel soccer despite their busy
high school schedules. In addition to Soccer, he has also helped to produce college bound athletes in Lacrosse, Track, and Field Hockey.
The Jags will be holding tryouts every
Wednesday from May 15 thru June 12, 2013. Interested players may also call or email to
make other arrangements.

FPYC Flying Monkeys is seeking several players to add to the fall
roster. The team has been in existence for 6 years and is coached by UVA
soccer alum Dan Doyle and is trained by UK Elite staff member Danny
Lewis.
Our philosophy is to get the players to think for themselves and
develop a love for the game. The coaches strive to take a quiet approach
during games and leverage practices for instruction. The team plays and
practices year round with an understanding that many players will also
participate in other activities (Lax, Field Hockey, Basketball and
Band). We take a serious yet fun approach on the game. The passion to win
is high yet is not overshadowed by the goal to play better soccer. We
participate in several tournaments including a trip to Virginia Beach to
participate in sand soccer.
Tryouts will be held on the following dates and locations:
Monday May 20th, 7:00 – 8:30 Stafford Park, Fairfax
Friday May 24th, 5:45 – 7:00 Stafford Park, Fairfax
Monday May 27th, 7:00 – 8:30 Stafford Park, Fairfax
Friday May 31st, 5:45 – 7:00 Stafford Park, Fairfax
Monday June 3rd, 7:00 – 8:30 Stafford Park, Fairfax
Monday June 10th, 7:00 – 8:30 Stafford Park, Fairfax
