T-Ball & Softball Program
Spring 2013 Season Information
Cost for Tball/Softball:
Age groups:
Tball (ages 4-8): age 4 is subject to Director approval. (K-1 & 2-3)
Intermediate (ages 9-12): Team placement based on age and skill
Junior (Girls only) 16U: Fast Pitch for ages 12-18
Fee is $70.00
Important dates:
Hitting/Pitching Clinic: OPEN to all - 3/23/13
Evaluations: April 6th @ 10am
Registration closes: STILL OPEN
Coaches meeting to set practice times: TBD
Tball First Practice: April 6th
First Game: TBD

Last Game: TBD
All Tball teams will have 1 practice during the weekand one on the weekend. Once the season starts they will have one game during the week and one on the weekend. There may be an optional practice during game season.
Also some games MAY be made up for cancelled games.
Intermediate teams, will have 2 practices per week(one during the weekdays and one on the weekend) Once the season starts they will have 2 games per week and one practice during the week. There will be optional pitching and hitting clinics throughout the season.
Games:
Tball games are 3 innings OR an hour and 15mins.
Intermiedate is 5 innings or 2 hours.
Junior Team: will play inter-league games and have an extra practice and/or batting practices. More information to follow.
Current volunteer needs:
1) Coaches, Coaches and more Coaches: We will teach you what you need to know. Take the plunge. You will have the time of your life! After all, if not you, who?
2) Field Equipment Manager: Check all fields for LIME and any other necessary items.
3) Online registration is available at: http://www.fpycsports.com. Walk in registration will only take place at FPYC Clubhouse. Registrations may also be taken in person or mailed to City of Fairfax, Department of Parks and Recreation (City Hall), 10455 Armstrong Street, Fairfax, VA, 22030, 8:30am-5pm, Mon-Fri, Phone: 703 385-7858. Please make checks payable to FPYC Tball.
